Slimming World, the UK’s most advanced weight management organisation, is expanding its PR team.

You’ll be part of our in-house team, based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, reporting to the PR Manager.  We’re looking for a team player with initiative and creativity who can help increase awareness of Slimming World through national media.

The role will involve:-

• Working with a range of media
• Anticipating and responding to enquiries
• Placing our marvellous member success stories
• Developing news and identifying new opportunities across a spectrum of national, regional and trade media
• Developing and broadening the range of media contacts
• Monitoring the effectiveness of PR activity

You will have excellent media knowledge along with a journalism or PR qualification.

Enthusiasm, empathy and a sharp eye for a story are key characteristics for the role.
